Let me introduce myself.

4-Beat LLC is a very small owner operated business specializing in teaching and training, emphasizing on Icelandic Horses and on very individual training.
.
I am a German Certified Icelandic Horse Trainer (IPZV Trainer C - IPZV is the German Icelandic Horse Congress) and a USIHC intern judge (aspiring sports judge in training). I have over 30 years of experience with different horse breeds and riding styles.

In 2002, my husband Andreas and I moved from Germany to the US. Whatever time I had was soon to be filled with horses in every possible way. I played polo; I was on the board of a therapeutic riding facility; and I started working for Barb and Dan Riva at Winterhorse Park in Wisconsin  - one of the largest Icelandic horse farms in North America offering training, lessons, clinics, competitions and many other events for Icelandic horse enthusiasts.

Working at Winterhorse offered great opportunities for further education such as clinics and lessons with well-known world-class clinicians and the chance to work closely with some of them for several months a year.

Over the past years, I have traveled to Germany and Iceland for internships and seminars and have worked with: Janine Koehler, Marlise Grimm, Suzan Beuk, Elisabeth Berger, Helga Thoroddsen and other trainers to further educate myself. I continue to pursue my passion by furthering my studies of the Icelandic horse whenever possible.

I am currently an active member of the United States Icelandic Horse Congress (USIHC) and greatly enjoy working for it's education committee.

In 2007, my husband and I moved to Michigan where I have established a business as a riding instructor and as a trainer, emphasizing on Icelandic horses and other gaited horse breeds.
